Suggested Itinerary for Fiordland National Park to complement your stay at Te Anau Lakeview Holiday Park and Motels.
There are numerous opportunities to experience Fiordland National Park from our Te Anau holiday park, including Milford Sound coach and cruise, Doubtful Sound overnight cruises and day time cruises. As well as 4X4 motor bikes, jet boat cruises, horse riding, fishing, farm tours, or walking one of the fabulous walking tracks such as the world famous Milford,Kepler, Routeburn or Hollyford Tracks.

The following itinerary is provided to highlight the range of opportunities waiting for you in Te Anau.
Day 1
Arrive at the Te Anau Lakeview Holiday Park, enjoy an evening nature walk to the local wildlife park and see some of Fiordland National Park's wildlife which you may encounter during your holiday.
Evening meal at La Toscana! or one of the many eateries in Te Anau before going to Fiordland Cinema to watch Ata Whenua - Shadow Land - This is a locally produced 32 minute film which explores Fiordland by helicopter, this is a cinematic introduction to Fiordland National Park. Screenings are every hour from 4-8pm.
Day 2
Coach and cruise tour to explore Milford Sound - The Piopiotahi Milford Sound Coach and Cruise departs Te Anau Lakeview Holiday Park at 7.45am and returns at 4.30pm - This fabulous tour which takes in all the best places to visit on the Milford Road and a 2.15hr Nature Cruise on Milford Sound.
Day 3
In the morning go for a self guided nature walk on the Kepler Track - a 45 minute lakeside walk from our Holiday Park, a great way to get close to nature and experience Fiordland's forests up close and personal.
Return to Te Anau for lunch at The Moose or one of the fabulous cafe's or restaurants before a helicopter flight (POA) to see Lord of the Rings or Ata Whenua movie scenes.
Later in the evening join an evening cruise to the Glowworm Caves - Children may go free on selected cruises* during New Zealand school holidays (*enquire)
Day 4
Doubtful Sound for a day or an overnight cruise - Overnight cruises are highly recommended as you really get to appreciate the serenity and the wilderness of Doubtful Sound, during the day, cruise and savor the scenic delights. Overnight cruises may offer fishing or kayaking activities.
